*Classic: Vertigo by Alfred Hitchcock (1958)

Vertigo 1958

Alfred Hitchcock’s thriller Vertigo is a classic tale of love that can never happen. John “Scottie” Ferguson (Jimmy Stewart) is hired by a long-time friend to investigate the strange behavior of his wife (Kim Novak). Scottie soon discovers she is more than he bargained for. He is eerily mesmerized by his friend’s wife. With the combination of love and vertigo, our detective has fallen for the oldest trick in the book. Scottie regains the courage to overcome his fear, but there is a cost to finding out a dark secret that will send him back into a world of chaos!

I absolutely love watching this film every time. This film proves that Hitchcock was and still is one of the best original creators thrillers and suspense. It’s bizarre and yet brilliant! If you have not seen this movie, go and check it out.
